‘MobLand’ Season 2 Is Here — And the Harrigans Have a Bigger Problem Than Their Rivals

The Harrigans are back, but their biggest danger may be coming from inside the family.

“MobLand” Season 2 premieres September 18, 2026, on Paramount+, bringing back Tom Hardy, Pierce Brosnan and Helen Mirren for another chapter of the crime drama.

Hardy returns as Harry Da Souza, the fixer caught between the powerful Harrigan family and the threats surrounding its criminal empire. Brosnan is back as Conrad Harrigan, while Mirren reprises her role as Maeve Harrigan.

This time, however, the battle isn’t only about defeating outside enemies. Family loyalty, shifting alliances and the fight for control are becoming just as dangerous.

Why Season 2 Feels Different

Season 1 established the Harrigans as a powerful force. Season 2 pushes the story toward a more complicated question: what happens when the people closest to the family can no longer be trusted?

Harry once again has to clean up problems for the Harrigans, but the pressure is coming from multiple directions. Rival forces are circling the family while tensions inside the organization continue to grow.

That puts Harry in a familiar but increasingly dangerous position—trying to keep a powerful crime family from tearing itself apart.

Season 3Renewed

Paramount+ says Season 2 will run for 10 episodes, with episodes released weekly on Fridays. The series has also been renewed for a third season.

Tom Hardy Returns as Harry Da Souza

Harry remains the man the Harrigans call when a problem needs solving.

But being the family’s fixer comes with a price. He has to understand what each side wants while avoiding becoming a target himself.

Season 2 places even more pressure on that balancing act as tensions rise within the Harrigan operation.

For viewers, that makes Harry one of the show’s most unpredictable pieces. He knows how the family works—but that doesn’t mean he can control what happens next.

Helen Mirren and Pierce Brosnan Return

Two of the show’s biggest stars are back.

Pierce Brosnan returns as Conrad Harrigan, while Helen Mirren again plays Maeve Harrigan.

Maeve’s influence over the family and Conrad’s position as its patriarch remain central to the story. Their competing approaches to power also add another layer to the Harrigans’ internal struggle.

Two New Cast Members Join

Season 2 expands the cast with Johnny Flynn and Ophelia Lovibond joining as series regulars.

Paramount+ has kept some details about their characters under wraps, leaving viewers to discover how they fit into the increasingly complicated Harrigan world.

The returning ensemble also includes Paddy Considine, Joanne Froggatt, Lara Pulver, Anson Boon, Mandeep Dhillon, Jasmine Jobson, Janet McTeer and Toby Jones.

What Happens in the Season 2 Premiere?

The first episode is titled “I Wanna Be Your Dog” and runs approximately 48 minutes.

The premiere begins with Maeve and Conrad dealing with new trouble, while Harry is left to handle the consequences. The episode also introduces a significant confession from Jan and new developments involving Kevin and Seraphina.

That makes the opening episode less about resetting the story and more about immediately putting the Harrigans under pressure.

Season 3 Is Already Confirmed

There is another reason “MobLand” viewers have something to look forward to: Paramount+ has already renewed the series for Season 3.

So Season 2 doesn’t have to serve as the final chapter of the Harrigan story.

For now, though, the immediate question is much simpler:

Can the Harrigans survive the enemies outside their empire—and the cracks forming inside it?

“MobLand” Season 2 is streaming on Paramount+ starting September 18.
